I see that the vbscript forum is now moved down to second position and PowerShell is at top

is this a sign?

Is it possible that it floated to teh top because it has fewer entries and is lighter;)

I have not made any changes to the forum layout.  So if the order is changing, its something in the forum software that I wasn't aware of and it very well could be based on activity.

Would you consider adding top level "Windows Scripting" and "Script Sharing" Forum entries for the "Exchange Management Shell" (EMS) scripts? While they both use PowerShell they are kind of mutually exclusive for someone looking for something specific.

As far as VBScript losing importance I personally don't see it happening any time soon. It will be a while till I get all the VBScript code converted to EMS scripts.  Almost everything I've been coding lately I have tried to code using the EMS but I'm still running into situations where my EMS knowledge base just isn't strong enough and I have to write it in VBScript to get it off my plate.

There are still things that you can't do in EMS for legacy Exchange servers so until you are completely converted to E2K7 and have mastered all the ins and outs of EMS you will still need VBScript.

This is also a very elegant way to do things by having the ability to use a full function VBScript while learning EMS you don't have to waste a lot of time "having" to convert a script.

We don't have enough traffic to warrant a separate forum for Exchange script problems, they show up in the PowerShell forum as necessary. But I will go ahead and setup some sub forums for shared scripts. So if you have something..please share!
